_________________________________________________ Silviu Costinescu aka Alien Pimp is some hybrid entity mutated from the creative genes of an electronic music producer, a media whore, a visual artist, a crazy preacher, a DJ, Don Quijote AND Sancho Panza. At 7 he was living in the slums of Bucharest, playing football during the day and reading Jules Verne during the night. At 14 he was still living in the slums, but having his own show of alternative music on one of the first private radio stations in Bucharest, Radio Nova 22. At 20 years he started wining recognition as an electronic music producer, being awarded First Prize @ Assos Music New Talent Festival. Still living in the slums, he was making music on friends’ computers as he couldn’t yet afford his own. At 27 he was already one of the main figures in Romanian electronic music scene, had a few TV shows, as a news reporter he shook hands with all presidents of Romania after Ceausescu’s execution, had his face shown on CNN on for some music related business and was long after 100 sets as a DJ. Ah, he also published in Romanian Playboy and did a crazy Tarantinesque photo shoot for FHM as a model, moved to his own house out of the slums, working on a computer he assembled himself. Now, at 33, he has tens of releases out, he played around Europe, he runs a few record labels and websites, he quit promoting parties after being involved in over 50 events, produces track after track, he is about to put out his first album and he tries making a living out of his ideas and creations in Barcelona, Spain. AEROMANTIKS Espectaculo de GOTA A GOTA Fira de Circ al Carrer 2009 El espectaculo Gota a Gota econ una duracion de 15 minutos es una exploracion en el mundo del agua. En esta pieza de danza aerea utilizaremo los dos arcos del puente viejo de la Bisbal para colgar dos cuerdas al vacio con una tela en cada arco y tambien usaremos las dos paredes que forman el pico en mitad del puente viejo con una cuerda a cada lado. En este siglo este elemento tiene mucha importancia y es un gran protagonista por su poder para transformar el ambiente y todos los seres que alli habitan. Con ella se trafica, se manipula y asi perdemos el valor mas simple el origen de la vida se produce en el agua: el agua es vida. Cuando escuchamos el agua podemos entender que pasa con el mundo y tambien con uno mismo. Si le preguntamos al agua que siente nos diria…. Me ensucio, me evaporo, me condenso, me contaminan, me congelo, fluyo, me estanco, me pudro, me caliento, me enfrio, absorbo, me absorven, contengo, me contienen, purifico, me filtran, me tratan, doy vida, me tragan, disuelvo… Quien soy?
